What is the difference between the NETGEAR ReadyShare Vault and the NETGEAR ReadyNAS Vault?

The NETGEAR ReadySHARE Vault is a free backup and recovery software for the WNDR4700 Centria storage router. It is developed by NETGEAR and it has a user friendly GUI for easier backup and recovery setup of any Windows computer. It copies drives, folder and files from the Windows computer into the internal hard drive or USB storage connected in the WNDR4700 router.

The NETGEAR ReadyNAS Vault is software that backs up your NAS to the Vault's online servers.  It is developed by Vault Services, a partner of NETGEAR. The ReadyNAS Vault comes pre-installed on all NETGEAR ReadyNAS devices.  With it you can set backup jobs to automatically back up files from your ReadyNAS to the ReadyNAS Vault's servers.  You can access your files in the ReadyNAS Vault from anywhere in the world with an internet connection by logging in at readynasvault.com.
